2025 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION is NOW LIVE!

SWLA Center for Health Services has the following scholarships available:

SWLA offers six (6) one-time $1000.00 scholarships in the month of June to assist with college tuition each fall. Applications for the annual scholarships are available online for students who are pursuing higher education at a 4 (four) year accredited university or college. These scholarships are competitive and open to high school seniors residing in Acadia Parish, Allen Parish, Calcasieu Parish, Cameron Parish and Lafayette Parish.

Once a student has been selected to receive the SWLA Center for Health Services Scholarship, the scholarship committee will notify the school and the student by mail. A member of the SWLA Center for Health Services Board of Directors or Scholarship Committee will present an Award Certificate to the student at senior awards day upon receiving notification of the awards day ceremony.

Scholarship recipients are required to present their letter of acceptance from an accredited 4 year University before the scholarship award can be disbursed.

As a courtesy, scholarship recipients are asked to submit proof of enrollment for SWLA Center for Health Services fund allocation tracking purposes.

We are excited about an opportunity to assist you with your college tuition, and even more excited about the thought of having you return to your community and possibly joining our SWLA team. Please complete the application below to be considered for a scholarship.
