Timeline for Teeth
4-5 months of age – Infants usually begin teething
6 months of age – A child’s first tooth should appear
Age 1 – A child’s first dental visit should be made
Age 3 – Children should have a full set of primary teeth
Age 6 – Children can expect to lose their first tooth
Age 13 – Children should have all their permanent teeth in place
Children should have dental visits at least every 6 months.
