SWLA Center for Health Services is excited to attend the Southwest Louisiana Community College Career Fair in Crowley on Tuesday, March 5, 2024   Time: 10:00am-12:00 PM Location: Acadian Campus- 1933 West Hutchinson Avenue Crowley, LA 70526   SWLA CHS will be joining in on this opportunity to recruit top candidates from SLCC's academic and technical programs. Career fairs are an excellent opportunity for SLCC students, alumni, and community members to connect to employers in their career fields. It is also an opportunity for employers to showcase the many employment and internship opportunities they have available.

SWLA Center for Health Services is excited to participate in the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Community Baby Shower on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.   Time: 10:00am-12:00pm Location: Martin Luther King Jr. Center: 2009 N. Simmons Street Lake Charles, LA 70601   The community baby shower is a resource fair for expectant mothers. There will be vendors, a presentation and free food. We hope you can join us!  

SWLA Center for Health Services will be participating in the Black Heritage Festival Day on Saturday, March 9, 2024.   Time: ALL DAY EVENT, beginning at 9:00am Location: Lake Charles Event Center- 900 Lakeshore Drive Lake Charles, LA 70601   Make sure to listen to our very own Obstetrician/Gynecologist Dr. Candace Douglas, FACOG during the Black Heritage Day Empowerment Session and stop by the SWLA CHS table during the Black Heritage Day Health Fair and visit with our SWLA Obstetricians and Gynecologists!

SWLA Center for Health Services will be participated in the Families Helping Families of SWLA 2nd Annual Bunny Stop & Hop on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Time: 10:00am-1:00pm Location: Families Helping Families of SWLA 324 West Hale Street Lake Charles, LA 70601 Instead of having a typical Easter egg hunt, vendors vehicles will be decorated similar to a trunk or treat. The idea is that individuals with disabilities and their families could park stop and hop from trunk to trunk gathering information from agencies and collecting treats or goodies along the way.
